“Eleven Plus is a program that is very well designed to give your child a level above 11+ exams which eases them to perform in all of their competitive test in various counties. My daughter got admission in one of the best grammar school and she did very well in all of her entrance exams. “Eleven Plus Exams online platform & mocks”

“Eleven Plus Exams offers in person & online classes as well as an online platform, where you can go through topics with videos and tests at your convenience; my daughter is doing the latter (Y5 1yr subscription).

I have always heard about the positive experiences and know people who are currently enrolled in the classes; All of us have experienced excellent prep for the upcoming exams.

Is it tough and challenging, absolutely! However, this is exactly what makes them the better platform to prepare our kids for their exams. They offer a variety of levels which has allowed for my daughter’s confidence to grow. They provide thorough explanations via videos for each topic and opportunities to repeat the test until it’s understood. They also provide you with statistics for how well your child is doing and in their cohort (mocks). The online platform even provides you with a word list for all the words your child has misinterpreted throughout the tests.

Whilst I believe & I’m hopeful the mocks are harder than the exam, EPEs has prepared so many different options and even caters for each school. After each mock, you are given statistics and a 24 hr period to review the incorrect answers with explanations. Although, I do wish this time was longer, as I had forgotten this info after our 1st mock! So don’t forget!

Lastly, their customer care team is excellent. I have needed to contact them 3 times and in all of these cases they have put me first and above the company!

I fully recommend EPEs to any parent hoping for their child to pass their exams. As I am yet to find another platform as good as EPEs (I have tried quite a few)!”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How are online lessons provided?

    • Students are given access to new pre-recorded lesson videos each week, presented by our in-house teachers. These videos replicate the content that is taught in our face-to-face classes.

      The lesson videos are divided into sections by subject or topic, allowing children to better digest the content in smaller segments.

      Students are assigned activities and homework to complete related to the topic they learnt that week to test their understanding.

  • How do you assess if a child has understood an online lesson?

    • Each lesson video is accompanied by a plenary test which usually comprises 10 questions on the topic taught. Plenary tests are usually timed to test a student’s speed and recall. Scores in these tests are an effective way to assess whether the lesson objective has been met.

      Homework can only be attempted after plenaries are completed. Students unlock one task to complete at a time as they work through each step of their weekly lesson plan. This ensures students do not rush into their homework before fully understanding the content of the week’s lesson.

  • What if my child does not understand the lesson topic?

    • If a student gets a low score on the plenary test, this may indicate that they do not understand the week’s topic. Each plenary is accompanied by a plenary review video, which reviews all the questions and answers in the test. This will usually fill any gaps in a child’s understanding and explain how they could have achieved a particular answer.

      Where students are still unsure and require further support, we offer live interactive Zoom top-up lessons. These are delivered by the same staff who teach our face-to-face lessons. They will usually be between 60 and 90 minutes in length.

      The Zoom lessons are optional; children who have fully grasped the week’s topics and attained high scores in their plenaries will not need to attend, and their time may be better spent progressing with their homework. The goal of the top-up lessons is to provide a space for students to ask their own questions to teachers and to clarify any uncertainties on a topic.

  • How am I informed about my child’s performance on the managed course?

    • You will receive end-of-term reports which will analyse all of the data collected from homework, class activities and end-of-term assessments. These reports give an overall ranking within the cohort and an individual ranking by subject. The reports also identify strengths and weaknesses across all topics.

      You will also receive a report for each mock exam sat, which will provide a rank, and high, low and average scores of the cohort
